Gopher Battletech League

Gopher Games is running a 3 month league for Battletech. September thru November. 

Over the course of the league, participants will earn league points by playing, winning, and reporting games in the Local Gopher discord. On a monthly basis, prize support will be given to top players and raffled so everyone can get some benefit even if they are not winning lots of games.

As the league progresses, new challenges and bounties will be posted every week! Every month prize support will be given out. 

In order to participate a player needs to:
-Have enough mechs for 2-3k BattleValue 2.0
-Pay the initial League fee of $25

-Commit to playing games on Wednesdays. Saturdays, or take the initiative to set up games with other league players on any other day. There is plenty of space most days.
-Report played games in the Local Gopher discord with some photos, who played what mechs, and what the outcome was.

At the end of each month, or months time, the League GM will summarize the events thus far, and give out buffs and challenges (BatChalls Even!) to all league players as a whole. Players can play whoever whenever, and as long as the games get reported properly the League “Timeline” will progress. This adds a fun NARRATIVE community element, without putting all the legwork of the narrative on the players. Feel free to be as narrative in reporting games as you like though!

(1)-Played Game Reported

(1)-Teach a new player how to play, demo the game. (Report it plz)

(1)-Show off a newly fully painted list of at least 3000 BV (that you have played at least once in the league)

Monthly Prizes:

League Champion: Have the most League Points.
Final Countdown: During the final week of each month of the league, we will allow the four top players to challenge each other and wager their league points in games with each other to try to get top spot the week before prizes are announced. When a player wins this prize, their league points will reset.

Best Painted: Each league player may submit any single ‘mech each month. One will be judged as the best!

Lucky Duck: Prizes will get raffled amongst those who did not earn any prizes yet, but did report games over this time period. Their league points will not reset in this case.
