Sell Us Your Warhammer Models

For those of you looking to sell some models to the Gopher, please understand first and foremost that we tend to focus on Warhammer models. This is mainly due to their ability to be resold. Many other miniature games are popular with us and the community, but not all make sense in a second hand market. As such, there is some discretion with what models we are willing to take.

Starting out, we are looking for models you have that constitute playable units for 40k. Based on our New-In-Box price (which is 15% off MSRP), we baseline our buy price for used miniatures at 1/3rd of our NIB prices, and sell the used models to the community at 2/3rds of our NIB prices. If the models are missing weapon options, missing bases, or are in other types of disrepair, the amount we are willing to pay for (and sell for) will be adjusted accordingly.

It is safe to assume that these factors will negatively affect the price:
-Kitbashing beyond the normal scale of the model size.
-Missing bases.
-Missing models for the complete unit.
-Thick paint or primer that would require removal to repaint.
-No longer having active rules (Legends, etc.)

-If a model is wholly or partly 3D printed, it is unlikely we would be interested in buying it. If it is something small such as a head swap on an otherwise regular model, we may still consider it.

There are factors that would positively affect our buy price as well:

-Being NIB with all parts present

-Being New on Sprue with bases and instructions

-Being very well painted and completely based

-Having well magnetized weapon options

Once you have these in mind, please bring your models in store on any Tuesday or Saturday. If you are too far to drive reasonably, assemble a list of the models you would like to sell to us, and take some photos. If there are any relevant factors as mentioned above, please tell us. Then, we will review it and send you a quote of what we would offer you in cash, or store credit.

If you are comfortable with the quoted price, we can then plan to ship them. Note, that if shipping is the desired method, we would likely only offer store credit, and may make adjustments to the quoted price if the models arrive broken, damaged, or not as described. This makes shipping a risky endeavor for us both, and it is much preferred that you bring the models in person. We can review the condition of models in person quickly to maintain a simple and transparent mutual understanding.
