Join us on May 23rd and 24th at 8:00 am at Gopher Games in Urbana, IL for a new premier two day Age of Sigmar tournament, Midwest Mayhem hosted by Gopher Games and the Combat Phase Podcast (This is my podcast and my co-host will be helping with terrain, if I get terrain from anyone else I’d like to also list them as additional hosts). Bring your best 2,000 point AoS army to battle your fellow gamers over five rounds in an attempt to seize ultimate glory!
Please note that the event is $40, and you can register in BCP freely after purchasing this ticket.
When building your army, use all the most up to date Age of Sigmar rules found in the Pitched Battles Publications list found in the General’s Handbook Pitched Battles 2025-26 (including battletomes and FAQs/errata.) Be sure in to check the Warhammer Community website for FAQs/errata and the most recent points. Every player must be able to provide their rules, including relevant FAQs/errata for their opponent or judge in either hard copy or digital form upon request.
There is a rules cutoff of May 17th. It is recommended that any players that may be using books or warscrolls without FAQs seek rulings prior to the event as all TO’s rulings will be final.
Lists are due in BCP by the end of the day on May 17th.
Armies are required to be painted to a "Battle Ready" Paint Standard. Players will be judged using the paint checklist in the pack with a 25 point minimum required to be eligible for awards. Any models not compliant with the Model Policy may be removed at the organizer’s discretion. This includes summoned models as well as terrain features and manifestations. If you are using a converted model or a similar proxy, it is your responsibility to obtain approval from the tournament organizers prior to the event and to communicate effectively what is what with your opponent. Models that do not follow this policy may be subject to penalty or removal.
Any models/manifestations that you would summon must be fully painted to match your army and displayed on your army display for paint judging. Including terrain pieces if appropriate. All models must be on round / oval bases as appropriate; see the Pitched Battle Profiles document for current base sizes. If you have questions, please request clarification from the TO ahead of the event.
